About Electric Vehicle Shipping
Electric vehicles carry 800 to 1,800 lbs of battery, which changes how many can ride on one carrier and where on the deck they sit. Most EVs also have a transport or tow mode that has to be engaged before the vehicle is loaded, and regenerative braking that can engage during loading if it is not. We dispatch EVs to carriers who handle them routinely.

Between 20% and 50%. Enough to load, drive off and reach a charger, without sitting at a full charge for a week.
Does an EV cost more to ship?
Our per-mile rate is the same. Very heavy models occasionally limit which carriers can take them, which can lengthen the pickup window.
