What We Do
E-Z Auto Transport arranges vehicle transport across the United States. Cars, SUVs, pickups, motorcycles, classics, exotics, non-running project vehicles, dealer trades and fleet rotations — on open carriers for most, enclosed trailers for the ones that warrant it.
We are based in Chicago, IL and work with a nationwide carrier network. Every carrier we dispatch to is checked for active operating authority and current cargo insurance before your vehicle is assigned to them.
How We Price
Most of this industry quotes from a zone chart, takes a deposit, then revises the number once a carrier actually bids on the load. We price the estimated road distance between your pickup ZIP and your delivery ZIP at $1 a mile plus a $300 base fee, and show it on screen before asking for a phone number. Estimates provided are for open carrier. Add $500 for enclosed.
Nothing is charged until a carrier is assigned to your vehicle and you have a confirmed pickup date. The balance is due to the driver at delivery.
How We Work
- One coordinator per move. The same person handles your file from quote to delivery, so you are not re-explaining it to whoever answers.
- Direct driver contact. You get the driver's number before pickup.
- Insurance verified before dispatch. Not "our carriers are insured" — checked on your specific carrier, before your vehicle is loaded.
- Honest pickup windows. Auto transport runs on windows, not appointments. We tell you that up front rather than promising a date we cannot control.
